The questions you actually have.

Does it work when I have no signal?

Yes. Sorting the run, the leave-by time, timing jobs, materials and quotes all run on the phone itself. With signal it uses live traffic to order the day; without, it falls back to a local optimiser and carries on. Nothing about the day plan needs a connection.

Where does my data live?

On your phone, by default. No account, no upload, nothing leaves the device. If you make an account, TradeDay also keeps an encrypted-in-transit backup copy in its cloud so a lost phone is not a lost year, and you can delete that copy from Setup at any time.

What happens if I stop paying?

You drop back to the free limits: one sorted run a day, ten job types, three quotes a month. Nothing is deleted, nothing is locked, and every export stays open. Your history and your learned durations are yours whether you pay or not.

iPhone or Android?

Both, plus any browser. The web app works today on a phone, a tablet or a monitor, and installs to the home screen on Android. The iPhone build is in the queue for the App Store.

Which currency and tax setup does it use?

It reads your device on first run and picks the currency, tax label and distance unit to match, then lets you override all three in Setup. Kilometres or miles, GST or VAT or sales tax, whatever your invoices already say.

Can I get everything back out?

Jobs, quotes and the vehicle logbook all export as CSV, and quotes render to PDF you can send from the phone. No lock-in, no export tier, no support ticket.
